An adult White Tailed Sea Eagle from Flatanger (Norway) showing characteristics as long, broad and fingered wings, heavy bill and short wedge-shaped tail.
Thanks to Ole Martin Dahle, the famous Eagles Man, for the nice daily trip with him that let me take this shot from his boat.

Never as in this situation I found myself shooting with many variables that could take me to the error.
I am very satisfied of this underwater scene portrayed while I was swimming with the stingrays in a reef off the island of Antigua in the Caribbean.
After a few years of rest on the hard drive, I'm resuming up some shots from the second trip to Namibia.
This is an image that is particularly close to my heart. A unique moment that represent life in the Namib Desert, apparently inhospitable, but that can sometimes surprise us with the opposite!
In this case we can see a large group of springboks backing the steep of a dune at Dead Vlej.

Cotylorhiza tuberculata is a species of jellyfish, also known as the Mediterranean's jelly or fried egg jellyfish. It is commonly found in the Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea and Adriatic Sea. It can reach 35 cm in diameter. I found this subject in the north of Sardinia, Italy.

I was ready to go back home after a night spent on the banks of a mountain lake. The rain was coming so I decided to reach my car very quickly. But... I still didn't know what was waiting for me. It was a moment, just a flash. A beam of light and a spectacular rainbow in the distance, there was no time for studing composition. I went straight into the shit of the cows to realized this shot. Now I think is true when people sais that "trample on shit is for good luck"!

Killing me softly... with this spider!
This shot was taken during my first trip to Namibia, precisely in Okonjima Leopard Reserve, the home of the AfriCat Foundation.
This organisation works closely with communal and commercial livestock farmers, assisting in alleviating losses from predator's intrusion by providing a rescue-and-release and relocation programme.
Since 1993 AfriCat has rescued over 1000 cheetahs and leopards on Namibian farmland. Over 85% of these animals have been returned to the wild.
I just crossed the borders of the Addo National Park (South Africa) and the welcome is simply great: an elephant approaching threatening just as the sun casts the last warm rays of the african winter season.
This park is indeed called "Addo Elephant National Park" thanks to the large presence of the majestic "big five".
The sun is sinking below the horizon behind the Atlantic Ocean in the centre of Namibia. In the front a flock of flamingos seems to compete in a race against time towards the salt complex near Pelican Point in Walvis Bay.
One of the most beautiful and at the same time sad scenes that I have witnessed during my safari in Africa. It 's the sunset in Moremi National Park and a hyena is wandering under a tree is the sign that something big is hiding around here...
